the design of the space is very much like owens' clothing--meticulously constructed elements and high quality materials presented in a deconstructed form.
what is intentionally absent from the space --no refrigerator, unfinished walls--is as relevant as what is brought in. it is decorated with custom furniture (much owens' own design), each piece, made of the highest quality materials; a cashmere upholstered bed a brass top table. and yet, the space is left raw, stripped down to its most tactile form.
it is the beauty of a certain kind of modern luxury---where empty spaces show wealth.
