kitsch?

payton cosell turner has re-imagined wall decor.  turner uses stickers to create large, repeat patterns that, from a distance, look like traditional damask wallpaper.

each section of wall covering is built out of individual stickers! she uses shape and color to generate the repeat, but the pixels of each section are unique. the rooms have a traditional appeal and are constructed out of small moments of pure kitsch.

her company, flat vernacular,  also sells beautiful, hand-drawn and screen printed wallpapers.

her work is featured in this month's elle decor.
