i'm having a double combo of seasonal nostalgia and open-space envy. it's a dangerous duo. i may move to a cabin in maine. but i'm sure that around january 28th i'd start cursing myself. so, instead, i'm coveting the the home of leonard koren featured in the new york times.

the 1200 sq ft house sits on a quarter-acre overlooking hundreds of acres of conservation land, and the point reyes national seashore. every window looks like a perfect landscape painting. and the images of the interior feel equally open and free of clutter.
